Happy New Year!

Happy New Year...From Florida!

Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!

Here's to a New Year filled with love, good health and happiness,
 and to new beginnings!

2013 is going to be a great year!

I usually never make New Years Resolutions,
but I did last year, and it was a big one!

Needless to say...It didn't happen!
But I have been working on my book though...so that's good!

This year my New Years Resolutions are a little more realistic!

1) Work on my book everyday...even if I don't feel like it!
2) Don't work like a maniac like I did this year!
3) Learn how to say...No!
4) Stop taking made to order items after November 1st!
5) Set a date for the last day to ship for Christmas!

I'd like to enjoy the Holidays next year...not be so
exhausted I can't even move!

6) Go back on my treadmill!
7) Get organized!

What's Your New Years Resolutions?

Happy New Year...Everyone!

Time To Rest...and Relax!

The Last Four Weeks Have Been A Blur!

I've been so busy making things,
bisque firing, glazing, glaze firing,
unloading, just to load, and fire again!

Not to mention...taking photos, editing photos,
packing, and shipping!

I'm Exhausted!

I'm so grateful for my Husband,
who ALWAYS goes to the Post Office for me,
to ship my packages...whenever I need him to.

Thank you Honey!

Well...all 45 birds are at they're new homes by now!

I managed to take a few photos of the birds,
right after I added the hemp cords.

I didn't have a chance to take any photos of anything else that I shipped though.

And these beautiful ornaments never made it in my shop!

I guess I'll have to save them for next year!

And these gorgeous stars too!

But I think I can list the stars all year long though!

Now It's Time For Some Rest!

And time for me to catch up on some things that I've been neglecting.

And most of all...

Time for me to work on my book!

If you'd like to follow my writing blog...here it is!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sleepy Hollow

I sold my first 8x10 today...Yay!

This is a photo of one of the many trees on our property.

I call it Sleepy Hollow!

It looks kind of creepy, but I like it!

Now I know what happened!

It was a great firing,

even though there was a problem!

The birdie ornaments came out great!
They're already washed, and waxed,
and ready for glazing!

Here's a sneak peek at my new ring bowls.
I love these!

Mini birdie bowls!

I love these little birds!

Maple leaves!

Ohh...I forgot this was in there!
I actually made two, but only one made it in the kiln.
There was no more room.

And this is part of my new collection called,
Brooklawn Park!

I'll blog about it later!

So...now I know what happened when my kiln shut off during the firing!

Our new electrician was here, and the problem was that
the circuit breaker for my kiln was the wrong one!
We had a 50 amp breaker, and my kiln needed a 60 amp breaker.
The electrician who had installed it (he's retired now), put in
the wrong one, and that's why the outlet, and the plug was fried.
It wasn't the lightning at all!

Holy Cow...I wonder what would have happened if I fired my kiln again?

It's all fixed now...Yay!

I'm so glad my Hubby had it checked out!
Thank you Honey!

Okay...gotta go glaze!
